Nkechi Chima - a makeup artist and graduate of Imo State University, has stated that she isn't ashamed of being a single mother as her 9-year-old son is her joy and the best thing that has ever happened to her.
Nkechi is less bothered about culture that says one shouldn't have children outside wedlock - she justifies this by saying if it isn't God's will, then it wouldn't happen.
She wrote,

Its your choice..... I am a proud single mother of a nine years old dude.
I've no shame ..Cus I didn't murder him. Yes I know that in our culture many detest having kids outside wedlock.
But honestly I do not care....If its not the will of God it won't come to pass....

My son is not a dummy. He's my joy. He's always maintaining 1st position. A lay reader. A chorister.
