Real Madrid Offer Gareth Bale To Manchester United And Chelsea For £90million

Manchester United and Chelsea have been favoured by Real Madrid after reportedly offering Welsh star Gareth Bale to the Premier League clubs in a potential £90million transfer.

The Wales international is looking increasingly likely to make way for Kylian Mbappe at the Bernabeu after Zinedine Zidane decided he didn't want four big names competing for three places in his attack.

Zidane has been adamant Cristiano Ronaldo would stay at the club despite speculation over his future earlier in the summer, while Karim Benzema is reportedly set to be offered a new contract.

This means Bale is the one who will lose his place to Mbappe, with Marca claiming the Spanish giants remain optimistic of completing the signing of the Monaco striker.

Club president Florentino Perez and manager Zidane have come to an agreement over selling Bale, and are asking for £90m for the former Tottenham man as they begin the process of discussing his sale with Premier League clubs.

United have been linked with Bale on a number of occasions in recent years, having tried to sign him while he was with Spurs and keeping tabs on him during his four years at the Bernabeu as well.
